OUR OFFERING
This medico-legal practice serves customers involved in litigation as plaintiffs or defendants, in matters involving brain injury, or brain dysfunction. The circumstances in which brain injury may occur are numerous, and include the following:
- Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA). The claims are usually processed by the Road Accident Fund (RAF). We are available to do assessments and reports for both the RAF (defendants) and the claimants (plaintiffs).
- RAF claims for minimal brain injury, but severe emotional distress. We assess the impact of the accident-related stress on brain function, neurocognition, and behaviour.
- Non-RAF claims for injuries such as assaults, domestic accidents, poisoning, and others.
- Medical negligence resulting in brain damage.
- Any other matters where an individual claims compensation for brain damage.
